Technical Director - Transport Project Management

Job Description

With experience as a recognised technical specialist responsible for managing senior level customer relationships you will also assist in developing deployment of expertise and provision of advice across multiple sectors with a primary focus on Transport projects.

About the role :

• Overall Design delivery of transport projects
• Client management with respect to design
• Management of scope, schedule, and budget for design activities
• Resourcing the overall design team with sufficient, competent resources
• Performance of the design teams
• Preparing a work breakdown structure
• Establishing the disciplines and the work package teams
• Management of subconsultants
• Management of change control;
• Managing the design team in accordance with Engineering and Design management plans;
• Manage scope programme and change;
• Monitoring the quality of the design in accordance with the Project objectives;
• Liaison with all necessary stakeholders;
• Technical review and comment of all design packages at all stages of submission;
