We are excited to invite applications for the role of Lead Software Engineer to enhance and expand our AI-driven SaaS platform. This position is uniquely tailored for engineers who excel in independent work and are passionate about delivering high-quality, production-ready features through every layer of the tech stack. You will play an integral part in developing vital systems and advancing our platform architecture during a pivotal growth phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver full-stack functionalities utilizing our Django + React platform.
  • Develop integrations with external services like OpenAI, Deepgram, and Twilio.
  • Improve and maintain large language model (LLM) pipelines, focusing on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and data anonymization processes.
  • Participate in transitioning from a monolithic architecture to a microservices structure.
  • Work closely with Product and Design teams to quickly iterate and deliver features with minimal meetings.
  • Independently oversee features from conceptualization to deployment.

Focus Areas

  • Transitioning a monolithic codebase into efficient microservices.
  • Establishing and fortifying robust RAG pipelines and LLM workflows.
  • Designing secure, compliant, API-first systems.
  • Implementing eventual consistency patterns utilizing DynamoDB.
  • Expanding infrastructure to accommodate substantial user and traffic growth.

  • Backend : Python, Django
  • Infrastructure : AWS (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB), Kubernetes, Redis, Postgres (RDS)

    • What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience in early-stage startups (Seed or Series A), driven by a rapid delivery mindset.
  • Ability to independently create features, manage integrations, and address intricate system challenges.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI or LLM technologies is highly desirable.
  • A good understanding of SOC 2 compliance and privacy-conscious design practices is an additional advantage.
