Full Stack Engineer (Fremont)

We are supporting a high-growth financial technology team that is redefining how consumer brands manage banking, cash operations, and financial planning. This team builds a modern cash management and automation platform that replaces legacy banking systems with intelligent software, helping product-based businesses simplify their financial backend and operate with greater speed and clarity.

What You Will Do

You will design, build, and iterate on core product experiences that power the platform used by hundreds of brands generating over one billion dollars in GMV. You will own projects from scoping through deployment, shaping user experiences, building reliable systems, and refining features based on real customer feedback. You will work closely with engineering, design, and the founding team to expand the platforms functionality and quality.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain product features across the stack using Kotlin, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL

Create fast, intuitive, and maintainable user experiences

Own full development cycles : design, implementation, testing, shipping, and iteration

Work with founders and designers to develop product direction and refine customer workflows

Contribute to engineering culture, code quality, and operational excellence

Operate comfortably in ambiguity while maintaining high standards

Ideal Background

Four or more years of full-stack engineering experience

Strength in backend or frontend development with willingness to work across the stack

Ability to craft clean systems and user-centric interfaces

Experience in small, high-ownership engineering environments

Work Environment

This role requires in-person work, five days per week, in either San Francisco or Toronto. The team is tight-knit, fast-moving, and composed of engineers and operators from companies such as Shopify, Square, Rippling, and Toast.
