Capital Markets Senior Business Analyst

Capital Markets Senior Business Analyst is responsible for assisting leadership in building and maintaining financial and operational reporting and analytics to aid Home Mortgage Capital Markets management strategic decision making and operational risk oversight. This role will engage across Capital Markets functional areas, providing data analysis and insight into topics including pricing margin management, pipeline interest rate risk, mortgage portfolio performance, etc.

Key functions :

• Support pricing strategy and tactics through new initiative development, financial impact analysis and new reporting & analytics on mortgage pipeline, profitability, servicing key metrics.
• Create consolidated cross-channel data sources through collaboration with business owners, finance, and technology partners. Provide subject matter expertise and manage the migration of siloed data sources into a centralized data warehouse or repository.
• Support balance sheet optimization strategy through loan sale transaction data support and portfolio segmentation.
• Support interest rate risk management, hedging, and QRM model management by assisting in continued development and maintenance of the current analytics suite.
• As needed, support cross-functional projects from a Capital Markets standpoint via data analysis, pro forma projections, or business case development.
• Create business and strategy review decks that incorporate relevant analytics as requested by leadership, and be prepared to present to upper management if requested.
