Who is PETA's Corporate Responsibility team?

As part of PETA's Corporate Responsibility (CR) team, you'll develop and build relationships with major corporations in the fashion, food, and entertainment sections, advocating for the rights of animals. You’ll prepare and deliver presentations to executives at annual shareholder meetings to make the case for companies to ban animal skins, add vegan options, stop promoting animals used for entertainment, and more. If a large company is exploiting animals, we're likely involved, reminding them that animals aren’t commodities. We are seeking a passionate, determined, and persuasive individual who can strike a balance of firmness and professionalism. Position Objective :

To conduct PETA's work with major corporations

Primary Responsibilities and Duties :

• Develop and carry out action plans for PETA's work with major corporations
• Decide on and maintain effective contacts with major corporations to advance PETA's work
• Prepare and deliver presentations to executives to make the case for helping animals
• Attend and speak at annual shareholder meetings of major corporations
• Draft shareholder resolutions, supporting statements, and questions regarding animal issues with major corporations
• Research the animal and environmental guidelines that are being enforced by major corporations
• Represent PETA's corporate campaigns to the media and the public
• Travel to attend meetings, conferences, corporate industry events, etc.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

The salary range for this position is $47, - $69, annually. The ultimate salary within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work.
