UCSF Division of Hospital Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG)
The UCSF Division of Hospital Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) invites outstanding hospital medicine physicians to join our faculty. We seek clinically excellent mission-driven physicians at all levels of experience who thrive in an academic safety-net environment and are eager to contribute to scholarship, teaching, and health system improvement while delivering outstanding care to our patient population.
ZSFG serves as San Francisco's safety-net hospital, providing care to patients with complex medical, social, and structural challenges. Faculty in this role will be integral to teaching the next generation of UCSF-trained physicians, and advancing scholarship that enhances patient care, health systems, and / or health policy.

For physicians primarily seeking a clinical role without formal teaching or scholarly expectations, or with flexibility in clinical hours, we invite you to explore our Medical Staff Physician - Hospital Medicine position , which offers the opportunity to flexibly practice high-acuity inpatient medicine in a mission-driven, academic setting at ZSFG.
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 . The minimum base salary range for this position is $114,100-$344,400. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
For positions that are 50% effort or less :
