Location Hybrid - Hartford, CT / St Paul, MN / Cockeysville, MD
Experience : 8+ Years
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Maintain working knowledge of IODF creation and implementation. Thorough knowledge of the Configuration Mapping Tool (CMT).
- Maintain understanding of Broadcom products including product support and currency. Knowledge of installation process : SMPE to Install libraries, to test, to production. Understanding of HIPER, FIXCAT and PE'd PTF's.
- Install IBM z / OS Broadcom, zOS upgrade, IODF
- Knowledge on Parallel Sysplex concepts
- Experience mainframe LPAR builds
- Strong experience in zOS version upgrades
- Installation of patches and fixes
- Installation and maintenance of ISV products
- System parameters / parmlib maintenance
- Managing incidents on z / OS related issues
- zOS MF configuration and setup
- z / OS performance monitoring and reporting
- CA Broadcom, CA / Broadcom Identity Manager, z / OS, Parallel Sysplex, SMPE, RMF, SMF, WLM, Understanding of System z architecture, zOSMF
