job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCountertop Fabrication : Fabrication of natural and artificial stone countertops and backsplashes to the highest standards under the supervision of a shop foreman department manager. Sink fabrication : Skillfully fabricate sink cutouts. Collaboration : Assist the shop foreman and team members in the fabrication area actively communicating and addressing discrepancies and special conditions. Label Interpretation : Understand and interpret labels relating to the material being fabricated. Documentation Review : Review programming and / or template paperwork in detail seeking clarification from the foreman or programmer when needed. Proactive Communication : Proactively communicate concerns that may impact job completion to the shop foreman or department management. Tool Knowledge : Become knowledgeable of job-specific tools used in fabrication operating them correctly and safely. Tool and Environment Maintenance : Maintain tools and work environment safely and cleanly minimizing disturbance to other areas. Safety and Quality : Prioritize safety and quality throughout the fabrication process. Punctuality : Arrive at work on time every day. Communication Skills : Communicate openly and clearly with the team members and management. Positive Attitude : Maintain a positive attitude contributing to a positive work environment. Problem Solving : Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve with minimal supervision. Judgment Skills : Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills Adaptability : Be adaptable able to modify planned daily schedules for unplanned urgencies. Goal Setting and Achievement : Effectively set and achieve goals demonstrating a proactive and goal-oriented mindset. Pressure Handling : Thrive under pressure and adeptly juggle multiple tasks with finesse. Perform other duties as assigned. Drivers License : Hold a valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Safety : Ability to pass and maintain proper respiratory device fitment to protect against hazardous chemicals and toxins. When using a respirator you must take the necessary steps to ensure proper fitment and use to ensure your protection. Countertop Fabrication Experience : Previous experience in countertop fabrication is strongly preferred. Software Proficiency : Experience using Microsoft Office products for administrative tasks. Construction Background : Background in residential and commercial construction & remodels is strongly preferred.
