About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its newly established organization, which is dedicated to advancing access to mathematics through summer enrichment programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the organization's strategy, advocating for the math summer programs ecosystem, and building the organization's infrastructure. This role involves a wide range of tasks, from big-picture strategy to day-to-day operations, and requires a proactive and adaptable leader with a passion for the mission. Key responsibilities include organizational leadership and development, advocacy and external relations, volunteer engagement and leadership, and operations. The Executive Director will be the public face of the organization, manage a budget, and ensure the organization is meeting compliance obligations and striving for best practices as a non-profit. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have experience in leading a team or organization, setting and meeting strategic goals, and managing a budget. Strong communication skills, the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude are essential. The role also requires the ability to inspire and coordinate teams of volunteers, as the organization is built on a highly collaborative culture. The ideal candidate will have a background in mathematics or experience with math enrichment education, and a proven track record of reliability, consistency, and problem-solving. The position is full-time and remote, with a preference for candidates who can start as soon as possible and are available to participate in the organization's annual conference in the fall.
