Job Opportunity : Machine Operator
A client of ours located in McMinnville is seeking a Machine Operator.
Permanent opportunities after completing contractual hours.
Responsibilities :
- Efficiently operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to meet production targets.
- Set up machines prior to production runs, ensuring proper calibration and configuration.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while handling equipment and materials.
- Frequently sit, walk, bend, and squat during shifts lasting up to 13 hours.
- Work at a computer or desk to track production data and machine performance.
- Safely move full drums of chemicals using a dolly or forklift, following handling procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support overall operational safety and efficiency.
Requirements :
Follow all Food Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Must speak, read, and write English fluently for job tasks.Flexible and available to work any shift.Open to overtime when needed.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Schedule :
(Shift 1) Sunday – Tuesday, e / o Wed 5AM–5PM : 10(Shift 2) Sunday – Tuesday, e / o Wed 5PM–5AM : 5(Shift 3) Thursday – Saturday, e / o Wed 5AM–5PM : 10(Shift 4) Thursday – Saturday, e / o Wed 5PM–5AM : 5
Pay : $20.63 / hour (+ $2.50 night shift differential).
