Job Description : Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Forestry Resource Department in logs purchasing.

In this position you will have the opportunity to :

• Support the purchasing efforts for Operations (primarily in Ariba, SAP, Evolve, and / or LIMS)
• PO / Contract creation : Ensure items and prices are listed accurately, and that all necessary approvals have been documented
• PO / Contract management : All orders are placed, shipped, and delivered on time
• Verify that all contracts and requisitions are compliant with the company's policies
• Assist with vendor onboarding and vendor profile management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams to improve purchasing efficiency and effectiveness
• Coordinate processes with the accounts payable function to facilitate enforcement of the LP's established policies
• Expedite order delays and resolve issues related to changes, returns, replacements, and credits
• Complete all other duties and special projects as assigned
