Tool Crib Attendant

We are seeking dedicated Tool Crib Attendants for a large defense company located in Santa Ana / Costa Mesa, CA. The positions are available for two shifts : the first shift from 5am-5pm and the second shift from 11am-11 : 30pm (flexible on times). These roles involve 12-hour shifts to ensure full coverage while the site is operational. Pay will start at $25-$30 an hour and be based on experience (4 hours of OT daily).

Responsibilities :

• Use digital tools to track tools, preferably Asset Panda or Oracle / NetSuite.
• Work from manufacturing schedules, verbal instructions, operation sheets, and written requests to manage crib stock accurately.
• Inspect tools for damage, cleanliness, and proper operation before issuing or after receiving them.
• Coordinate tool repairs or replacements as needed.
• Monitor tool usage to prevent loss or unauthorized removal.
• Prepare complete tool kits for various manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly storage area.
• Check all incoming materials against paperwork and store them properly.
• Prepare and complete all related paperwork and reports.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
