Outside Parts Sales

Midwest Transit Equipment  is seeking an  Outside Parts Sales Specialist for the state of Michigan.

This person is responsible for building a lasting relationship with our customers while being able to sell with integrity and excellence.

Essential Functions :

• Responding to customer parts or information requests quickly
• Identify Customer needs and opportunities that will produce additional sales
• Through preparation form and presentation of, sales proposals
• Presentation of new items or services during each visit
• Communicating with customers regarding parts
• Recording parts information carefully and identifying parts using most efficient method
• Determining parts availability, parts price information and documentation
• Providing parts to customer from stock, procuring locally or creating a parts order as directed
• Accurate and timely maintenance of activity and sales reports
• Monitoring the status of customer parts orders
• Periodic delivery of light parts when logistically advantageous or to address customer needs
• Contentious customer service including problem identification and concern resolution
