Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Boston)

firstPRO is now accepting resumes for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Boston, MA. This is a 6+month contract and onsite 4 days per week in Boston. Must be local to apply.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive software test plans to identify defects, root causes, and areas for improvement.

Implement structured testing methodologies, frameworks, and standards while monitoring defect trends and driving effective resolution.

Build and maintain UI automation test suites using Selenium and related technologies.

Develop and maintain performance and load test scripts using tools such as JUnit, JMeter, and Selenium Grid.

Create and maintain API and web service automation scripts for REST and SOAP services.

Integrate automated testing within CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus, ensuring seamless delivery cycles.

Requirements

38 years of hands-on experience with advanced automation testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Strong understanding of software development practices, with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.

Experience working with IDEs such as Eclipse (preferred) or similar.
