Adult Forensic Outpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in the California Bay Area

Details / Requirements :

Need starts ASAP x ongoing. Client prefers candidates who are comfortable in outpatient behavioral health forensic setting (patients on diversion / probation) that have mental health and addiction disorders. Candidates also need to have either experience in or training in addiction psychiatry. hey could easily offer 16-24 hours per week for this need and likely build that up in the future.

Need is for 100% in-person services, no hybrid option.

Hours : 8 : 30am to 5 : 30pm, M-F

No call.

60 minutes for initial evaluations, and 30 minutes for medication follow ups. And one hour or so of non-patient time per 8-hour day to do documentation.

Client has an electronic health record, so candidates must be tech savvy, i.e. well versed in using an E.H.R.

Credentialing takes 1-2 months

Client prefers 6-month minimum assignments with the possibility of extending long term, if mutually agreed upon.
