Pride Health is hiring for a  MLT / MLS  to support our client’s medical facility based in  Everett, WA 98201.  This is a  26 weeks Contract  opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Specific Duties :

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
• Analyze and evaluate test results, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding lab procedures and results.
• Monitor inventory and report low supply levels as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance and control activities, including proficiency testing.
• Train and mentor new staff or students on lab techniques and equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of lab procedures and test outcomes.
• Ensure specimen integrity and prioritize accuracy throughout the testing process.
• Track and manage reagents through accurate documentation and utilization.
• Communicate shift updates effectively to staff and leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Use the Laboratory Information System to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Utilize communication tools such as email, messaging apps, and timecard systems.
• Support leadership in evaluating and implementing lab procedures and improvements.
• Build strong working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
• Work independently while ensuring effective communication with colleagues.

Must have qualifications / experience :

MLT / MLS certification
