Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in West Springfield, MA. This role requires proficiency in phlebotomy and experience in women's health or OBGYN is advantageous. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm, with no weekend work required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow activities and assist with clinical exams and procedures related to Reproductive Endocrinology.
• Perform phlebotomy and other procedures such as vital signs in accordance with established protocols.
• Refer patients to appropriate physician or nurse staff when special needs are identified.
• Document activities and data accurately in medical records.

Work Environment

The position is based in a fertility clinic in Connecticut, renowned for being a top fertility clinic in the country. The role is primarily during weekdays with a 40-hour workweek. While PTO / Sick time is currently not offered, efforts are being made to negotiate favorable terms for consultants.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00 / hr.
