Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology / CT Extern is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist. Radiology / CT Externs are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic / therapeutic environment.

What you will do in this role :

Performs X-rays of patients maintaining a high quality of care.

Assists in transporting and positioning patients.

Ensures patient safety.

Maintains accurate records.

Maintains supplies and inventory.

Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.

What qualifications you will need :

Attending an accredited school of radiological technology with clinical experience.
