Position Overview

Our client is seeking a confident, experienced Associate Attorney to join their collaborative legal team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong litigation skills, excellent client communication abilities, and a strategic mindset. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a diverse caseload while working alongside a supportive and experienced team. You will be expected to handle cases from intake to resolution, including drafting pleadings, participating in negotiations, conducting hearings, and trying cases in court. Key Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in all aspects of contested and uncontested family law matters, including divorce, custody, enforcement actions, modifications, and protective orders.
• Independently manage a full caseload, from initial consultation through trial or settlement.
• Conduct hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials with confidence and competence.
• Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, discovery requests / responses, and settlement agreements with minimal revisions.
• Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients throughout their cases.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and guide paralegals and legal support staff as needed.
