Location : 3205 N Twyman Rd, Independence, MO 64058

Hourly Pay Rate : $19.75 to $21.50

Schedule : Wednesday to Saturday 12 : 30pm - 10 : 30pm

Three consecutive days off!

Every day as a Mental Health Technician, you'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to guide teens (ages 12-17) in their mental health journey through experiential therapies such as art, music, games, and sports. Responsibilities

• Make an impact by providing mentorship and creating a safe, engaging space for teens in a structured, therapeutic environment.
• Guide adolescents through daily routines, group activities, and coping strategies.
• Receive training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention techniques to respond to behavioral escalations as they arise.
• Document progress notes daily and communicate important updates to the Program Director.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure individualized care and safety.

Qualifications

Age : 21+

Education : High school diploma or equivalent GED is required; associate’s or bachelor’s in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field preferred.

Experience : 1+ year working with adolescents in behavioral health, education, coaching, or mentorship preferred.

Certifications : CPR and First Aid preferred (training provided).

Background Checks : Must pass pre-employment drug screening and federal / state background checks per Missouri law.
