Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Plant Operator to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of industrial gas production facilities. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with safety standards, meeting production targets, and minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and operations support. Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical aptitude, operational discipline, and readiness to work in a 24 / 7 manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Start-up, shutdown, and continuous operation of production systems
  • Monitor process variables and respond to alarms and abnormalities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process equipment
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure adherence to operational procedures
  • Collect and analyze process data to support performance improvements
  • Communicate with control room and other site personnel for safe operations
  • Follow site-specific safety and environmental protocols
  • Participate in training programs and process improvement initiatives

    • Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Technical Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial, mechanical, or chemical plant experience
  • Familiarity with process instrumentation and mechanical systems
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer and troubleshooting skills required
  • Previous experience with DCS or PLC systems is a plus
