The Environmental Engineer is responsible for managing environmental compliance, designing and overseeing pollution control systems, and ensuring the facility's operations minimize impact on the surrounding environment. The role combines expertise in engineering, chemistry, and biology to address the unique challenges of wastewater, air quality, and waste management inherent to rendering operations.

Eligible to an annual bonus up to 15% of your base salary, based on the results of specific determined objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Regulatory compliance :

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and permit requirements at the federal, state / provincial, and municipal levels.
• Ensure site operations and environmental control equipment comply with all applicable regulations and permits.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate potential impacts to management.
