Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the build-out and optimization of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure .

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform , Ansible , and ARM (Azure Resource Manager) templates .

Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to support the organization’s digital transformation efforts.

Automate cloud infrastructure deployments and maintenance processes.

Manage and support container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or OpenShift .

Ensure compliance with cloud governance policies and security best practices.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance across Azure environments.

Maintain clear documentation and knowledge sharing of architectures, designs, and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Experience :

5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with a focus on cloud infrastructure in Azure .

Strong experience with Terraform , Ansible , and ARM templates.

Proven track record in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .

Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (preferably AKS or OpenShift ).

Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Experience supporting enterprise-level digital transformation projects.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-104 , AZ-305 , AZ-400 ) are a plus.

Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Prometheus / Grafana.

Knowledge of security standards and best practices in cloud environments.
