Licensed Practical Nurse [LPN] | Surgery (Contingent)

What You'll Do :

• Scrub Duties : Perform scrub duties efficiently, following established procedures, policies, and guidelines.
• Nursing Functions : Execute delegated nursing functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support patient care.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other healthcare providers to deliver effective and efficient patient care, achieving desired outcomes.
• Instrument Handling : Assemble, clean, and sterilize patient care items and instruments across various departments.
• Documentation : Accurately document and report observations to the Registered Nurse, including recognizing and communicating significant information necessary for quality care.
• Performance Improvement : Participate in identifying clinical and operational performance improvement opportunities and contribute to activities demonstrating positive patient care outcomes.
• Health Teaching : Provide patient and family health education as delegated and observed by the Registered Nurse.
• Professional Development : Maintain accountability for your professional practice and development; stay updated with current nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Emergency Response : Be prepared to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.

• Attendance : Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance, attending all mandatory education and in-services (team training, safety, infection control, etc.).
