Summary / Objective

Responsible for processing warranty claims for John Deere and other vendor machines in a timely manner. Will be required to work with store locations in a professional manner in order to solicit any information needed to complete warranty tasks.

Essential Functions

The following are essential functions of this position :

  • Submit, track, and post credits for warranty claims to John Deere and Other brand equipment sold by United Ag and Turf.
  • Work with Store location and Vendors to obtain needed information to process these claims.
  • Submit John Deere Mass Channel claims and post credits as needed.
  • Process shipping damage claims and check and post credits when needed.
  • Perform any warranty related tasks as directed by the warranty manager.

Physical Demands

This position requires minimal physical demands that are necessary to perform the essential functions of the position, including :

Talking and hearing. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit; walk, type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

    Required Education and Experience

  • Two years of increasingly responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
