About The Position

  • A permanent, full-time opportunity for a Physician Assistant with fellowship training in Neonatology.
  • The role involves providing advanced care for neonates in both Level III and Level II NICUs across two Michigan locations.
  • This position offers a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams, robust benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care for neonates in Level II and Level III NICU settings.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of junior providers and trainees.
  • Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and research activities.
  • Support community health programs related to neonatal care.
  • Maintain current licensure, board certification, and required credentials.

    Job Requirements

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant in Neonatology (by time of start) – Required
  • Fellowship training in Neonatology – Required
  • Active Michigan License – Required
  • Active DEA – Required
  • Current ACLS & BLS (through AHA) – Required
  • Relevant neonatal clinical experience – Highly Preferred
