Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Paramus, NJ

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide in-home and group-home ABA services to adults with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities. This role focuses on reducing maladaptive behaviors while fostering self-help, communication, and adaptive skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

Update BIPs every six months or as needed

Supervise and train Behavior Technicians in implementing BIPs

Provide family and staff training in ABA strategies

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers to ensure quality care

Complete all required documentation, including FBAs, BIPs, and progress notes, in a timely manner

Participate in agency-provided training and continuing education opportunities

Travel to assigned group homes or client residences as scheduled

Qualifications :

Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (preferred)

Current BCBA certification (required)

Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or intellectual / developmental disabilities

Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs

Flexible schedule availability, with preference for late afternoon / evening hours (3 pm–9 pm)

Willingness to travel locally to service locations

CPR / First Aid certification (training provided if needed)

Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or willingness to obtain (training provided)
