Design Engineer Opportunity

We are partnered with a company in Bessemer, AL who is looking to hire a Design Engineer for a direct hire position.

Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of product design experience
  • Detailed knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of the following processes : sand casting, permanent mold casting, machining, and welding.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, 3D, CAD, and Finite Element Analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with bringing new products to market and redesign existing products

Preferred :

  • Manage the product design lifecycle from conception to full scale production including component design.
  • Document results of testing in engineering test reports and write assembly procedures for the manufacturing team.
  • Lead FMEA events to gain a detailed understanding of potential failure models and take appropriate action to prevent occurrences.

    • Salary Range-$80,000-$90,000+ bonus potential
