Job Title :

ETL / PLSQL Programmer

Location : Jersey City. NJ

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an ETL / PLSQL Programmer. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and analytical background in developing complex ETL workflows and data mappings using Informatica PowerCenter, and should be proficient in Unix scripting and MuleSoft tools. This role requires a proactive communicator who can work independently and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Expertise in performance tuning of targets, sources, mappings, and SQL queries.
  • Solid understanding of PL / SQL, including functions, complex SQLs, and creating / exposing views / materialized views.
  • Strong skills in Unix commands and scripting.
  • Strong Background in Data Warehousing and Data Analysis

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with source control repositories such as SVN / BitBucket.
  • Familiarity with continuous build integration tools like IBM UBuild / Jenkins, IBM UDeploy / Ansible.
  • Previous experience working on data warehouse projects.
  • Knowledge of Python programming.
  • Experience with Tableau or other reporting tools.
  • Experience with Autosys.

    • Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Create data mappings to ingest data from various sources including flat files, RDMS, Hive, or REST APIs.
  • Develop and execute Unix scripts.
  • Develop test cases and perform unit testing.
  • Coordinate with distributed team members and provide regular task status updates to management.
