Job Title : Financial Controls and Accrual Analyst

Location : White Plains, NY (Local to Tri-State Area Required)

Duration : 12-Month Contract

Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7.5-hour workday with a 0.5-hour unpaid lunch (paid for time worked only). Hybrid or onsite based on business needs.

Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Controls and Accrual Analyst to support critical cost accounting, financial reporting, and internal control functions. This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical, organizational, and SAP skills who are local to the Tri-State area and ready to contribute to high-impact financial operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and post monthly accrual journal entries, ensuring accurate expense and revenue allocations.
  • Assist in the development of quarterly financial presentations and consolidated reporting packages.
  • Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of the monthly financial package for internal stakeholders.
  • Review project invoices and approvals for accuracy, compliance, and proper SAP documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to reconcile project costs and confirm final construction scope.
  • Manage the financial closeout process for projects in SAP, including contract commitments, final billings, journal entries, and closeout memos.
  • Support the financial controls team with documentation distribution and updates to Primavera.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong cost accounting knowledge and analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
  • Understanding of Primavera and project reconciliation processes (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand fee schedules and contract terms.
  • Additional Requirements :
