Job Description

AECOM's Water Business Line is actively seeking a Civil Engineer III for employment in the Fort Myers, Florida office. The successful candidate will work with Project Managers and other technical disciplines on all project phases to deliver a variety of water, wastewater, stormwater, and resiliency projects. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with a variety of exciting, challenging projects locally and worldwide.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

• Planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services and will include activities focused on design of municipal water / wastewater, stormwater, and resiliency projects.
• Technical resources may serve as technical advisor for the team.
• Communicates project tasks between offices high level of coordination and communication skills required.
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input for the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
• Overseeing construction phase engineering services.
• Coordination with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public will be necessary to accomplish assigned objectives.
