Pleating Machine Operator- They make tall cylindrical Filters for oil and gas machines.

PAY : $12 / hr.

We are looking for an individual who pays attention to detail and is dependable.

SHIFT : Group A (Sunday-Wednesday 6-4 : 30 PM)

Job Description :

  • Tends one or more machines that fold and press pleats into materials, such as cloth, paper, plastic, or parchment : Turns thumbscrews or levers to adjust the pleating knife according to the width specified for pleats and for the distance defined between pleats, and to adjust the temperature of pressing rollers.
  • Place the roll of material on the rod at the entry end of the machine and draw the end of the fabric through guides, a pleating knife, and between heated pressing rollers.
  • Laps end of fabric around take-up roll or guide ends into the box.
  • Starts machine and observes pleating for conformance to specifications.
  • Thread material between layers of paper may be used to prevent heated rollers from scorching material.
  • May tend machine that attaches waxed thread to edges of material to hold pleats in fabric.

Requirements :

  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. (NO THEFT OR VIOLENT CRIMES ARE ACCEPTED)
  • MUST BE Bilingual AND SPEAK (English / Spanish)
  • Must be able to lift to 40 lbs.
