Shift : First Shift | Monday – Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM | Weekend & On-Call Rotation

Compensation : Competitive – Based on Experience

Medipack Pharmacy, a regional provider of Long-Term Care Pharmacy services, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our first shift team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, excellent attention to detail, and a background in healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance data processing.

Responsibilities :

Accurately enter and maintain pharmacy data, including prescriptions, patient information, and insurance claims

Process and verify billing and insurance details, resolving discrepancies as needed

Track and update medication inventory records to support ordering and stock management

Generate reports on medication usage, insurance billing, and workflow efficiency

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDA, and other healthcare regulations

Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and administrative staff to support smooth pharmacy operations

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in healthcare, data management, or related fields preferred

Prior experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or insurance data entry strongly preferred

Familiarity with pharmacy software or inventory management systems (e.g., QS / 1, PioneerRx, McKesson) a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management

Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Physical Requirements :

Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods

Ability to lift and move items up to 20 pounds when handling files or supplies
