Senior Backend Developer

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Platform) to join their remote team in Canada. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain authentication and authorization systems for secure access control across services Develop components for the internal library used by backend developers to support service-oriented architecture Lead medium to large-sized projects and foster cross-team collaboration to build a healthy engineering culture Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; AWS certifications are a plus Experience with AI-powered development tools and hands-on experience with Distributed Systems and Event-driven Architecture Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, and SQL Ability to work on complex technical issues and own solutions from ideation to completion Experience with authentication / authorization systems (OAuth, JWT, RBAC) is a plus
