The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is looking for a Power Settlements Analyst to join our Power Risk and Settlements this key role you will support EWEBs power supply portfolio by handling settlement and accounting functions for energy transactions including electric power transmission environmental commodities and ancillary services. You will work closely with internal teams and external counterparties to ensure accurate billing resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance with market and contract requirements. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing improvement of EWEBs settlement processes and systems.
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex data and perform accurate reconciliations in a fast-paced environment. Youll be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively applying your problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and drive improvements in settlement processes. Developing a strong understanding of energy markets and the ability to work with EWEBs Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system will be key to success in this role.

Compensation & Benefits
The starting annual salary range for this position based on level commensurate with knowledge skills and education as they relate to the position is : $78774.45 - $94908.98.

Minimum Training and Experience Required
Minimum Experience : Two years of experience in data analysis energy markets utility operations or a related analytical role.
Recommended skills : Basic understanding of power trading and scheduling power contracts and NERC tagging. Strong computer skills are essential with an emphasis on Excel and Allegro Horizon (ETRM).
Education : Associates degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration Economics or a related field.
Recommended Education : Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration Economics or a related field.
Equivalency : An equivalent combination of experience and education may be qualifying.
