Global Sourcing Strategy Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Tariff-Driven Strategy Development Monitor and analyze . import tariffs and global trade policy developments Create and implement sourcing strategies that optimize cost, lead time, and risk exposure based on tariff impacts Provide data-backed recommendations for shifting supply sources or adjusting insourcing / outsourcing models
• Global Manufacturing Site Assessment Evaluate and recommend which regional manufacturing sites should produce specific parts / components based on tariff exposure, logistics costs, and customer demand locations Partner with operations and supply chain leaders to align sourcing decisions with regional capacity and capabilities
• Resourcing / Insourcing / Outsourcing Execution Lead initiatives to transition production across suppliers or in-house operations Develop business cases for outsourcing or insourcing decisions, factoring in financial, operational, and compliance considerations Ensure smooth execution of sourcing transitions while minimizing supply disruptions
• Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with procurement, finance, trade compliance, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to align strategies with business goals Partner with senior leadership to reassess sourcing models as tariff and trade landscapes evolve
• Analytics & Reporting Build models to simulate tariff cost impacts under different scenarios Provide clear reporting and presentations to leadership on sourcing recommendations, cost savings, and risk mitigation strategies
