Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient rehab or acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an inpatient rehab and acute care hospital environment
  • Schedule is 5x8 hour AM shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • Role involves evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients with physical, mental, or emotional challenges
  • Black scrubs are required
  • Responsibilities include creating and adjusting individualized treatment plans, conducting clinical documentation, and supervising support staff, students, and volunteers
  • Position requires strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Virtual interview process with one round
  • Returning employees are subject to additional eligibility checks
  • Dress code requires black scrubs

  • Active TX Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab or acute care settings
  • BLS certification (AHA only) required
  • Master's degree with less than one year experience or Bachelor's degree and two years' experience
  • Two professional references required
  • Must live more than 50 miles from facility; local travelers not accepted
  • Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions
