Smile Maryland , a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist in Prince George County, MD and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school.

Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.

Registered Dental Hygienist Qualifications :

• Must hold active RDH license
• 1+ years' experience as a Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH)
• Valid State ID, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel locally is a must
• Works well with others (both children and adults)
• Ability to work well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification with hands-on live skills assessment
• Able to walk several flights of stairs on occasion as many schools are without elevators

Smile New York Outreach, through our affiliated dentists and other dental professionals, visits kids throughout New York City and Westchester County in the familiar surroundings of their schools, bringing much needed dental care to kids who may not otherwise have access.
