Associate Design And Analysis Engineer

Boeing seeks an Associate Design and Analysis Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama and support the PAC-3 production program and develop advanced diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting seeker hardware.

Position Responsibilities :

• Install, service, maintain, upgrade, and modify special test equipment used for the acceptance and diagnostics of the PAC-3 seeker.
• Use technical knowledge, existing procedures or develop new procedures, and internal and external resources to fabricate, install, diagnose, and correct seeker hardware and test equipment hardware and software.
• Modify, test, calibrate, and document system configurations to meet design requirements.
• Use various types of computing systems or electronic and electrical test equipment to test electronic and electrical components and systems.
• Work with management, engineering, equipment manufacturers, vendors, suppliers, and other organizations to analyze and make recommendations on test equipment design requirements, capability, and improvements.
• Support ongoing PAC-3 production program adherence to production schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair of PAC-3 Seeker and subsystems.
• Troubleshoot and repair test equipment in the PAC 3 seeker factory.
• Analyze and gather test data to determine fail signature and corrective action.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) : Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. 3+ years of experience in engineering design or analysis. Experience testing and troubleshooting advanced Electronic Systems (i.e. Electro-Optical Guidance Systems, Radar Tests and / or RF Seeker). Experience in electronic or electrical systems or subsystems and components including the requirements, operating principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces. Willingness and ability to work 2nd shift.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) : 3+ years of experience in electrical and electronic hardware design. 3+ year of experience with mm Wave and Microwave Test. 3+ year of experience with radar systems. 3+ year of experience working with Radar Cross Section, antenna, or Radome measurement techniques.
