About the Role

The Company is in search of a visionary Vice President for College Advancement to lead its fundraising, alumni relations, and events management efforts. The successful candidate will serve as the chief development officer, a key member of the President's Cabinet, and will be expected to build a strong and productive partnership with the new president. A central priority will be the development and execution of an emerging comprehensive campaign to support transformative projects and the growth of the college's endowment. The role requires deep experience in campaign planning, the ability to cultivate principal and transformational gift donors, and a track record of expanding a donor base. The VPCA will also be responsible for strengthening the donor pipeline, particularly among high-net-worth individuals, corporate partners, and philanthropic foundations, and for refining the alumni relations program to foster deeper connections and increase philanthropic support. The ideal candidate for the Vice President for College Advancement position at the company will be a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in advancement, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a deep appreciation for the mission of liberal arts education. A bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, along with at least ten years of progressively responsible experience in advancement, ideally within higher education. The role demands a strategic thinker who can define and drive fundraising efforts, engage stakeholders, and mentor a high-performing advancement team.
