The Sr Platform Engineer is essential for developing and optimizing platform services that support core data workloads and infrastructure performance. It involves designing deploying and enhancing platform architecture with a focus on security cost-efficiency and operational excellence. The position requires collaboration with engineering data and product teams within an Agile environment to improve platform capabilities. Success is measured by the robustness efficiency and automation of platform services that enhance developer experience. The work directly impacts the technological framework that supports organizational objectives and customer solutions.

Job Responsibilities :

• Designs Develops and deploys platform services to enhance infrastructure performance security and cost-efficiency

Design deploy and maintain platform infrastructure across hybrid environments (on-prem AWS and Azure)

Ensure system reliability performance and security through proactive monitoring automation and performance tuning

Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident resolution and root cause analysis

Build enhance and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation

Engineer hybrid connectivity solutions and optimize network paths between datacenters and cloud services

Contribute to Agile ceremonies driving infrastructure readiness and delivery excellence

Base Pay Range : $116000 - $209300

Corporate Bonus Target : 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile employees in regular non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and / or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and / or team performance.
