    Position : Producer

    Location : Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

    • In-person : Mondays and Thursdays at our Los Angeles office
    • Remote : Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
    • About the Role

      We’re hiring a Producer whose primary mission is to generate and win new business , and then produce the work to an exceptional standard. You’ll open doors, nurture relationships, shape proposals, and guide engagements from first conversation through successful delivery. The core areas you’ll lead include :

    • New business : Source and qualify leads, cultivate your network, craft pitches / proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
    • Production excellence : Scope, schedule, and budget projects you bring in (and select others), ensuring a frictionless client experience that leads to repeat work.
    • Partnerships : Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal creative teams to unlock opportunities and accelerate execution.
    • Growth metrics : Grow a healthy pipeline and deliver against goals for meetings booked, proposals submitted, revenue closed, and client retention.

      Responsibilities

    • Cultivate and leverage industry contacts to identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships and alliances.
    • Actively engage with industry peers and associations to stay abreast of market trends, identify potential clients, and explore partnership opportunities.
    • Own CRM and pipeline health by keeping contacts, activities, deal stages, and forecasts current so dashboards reflect real-time business performance.
    • Lead bid creation for prospective projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
    • Create and manage production schedules and budgets for all development and production, optimizing resource allocation.
    • Act as the primary point of contact between Parallax and our clients, understanding and aligning with clients' goals, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Oversee the project process from conception through completion and final delivery on multiple projects concurrently for the concept, visualization, and finals teams.
    • Hire and manage external talent, including freelancers and vendors, ensuring alignment with project requirements and maintaining quality standards.
    • Proactively monitor project risks, identifying and resolving obstacles and issues, and adjusting project scope as needed to maintain project timelines and budgets.
    • Set and define new best practices as needed to optimize the production pipeline, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Requirements

    • Minimum of 5+ years of production management experience in the entertainment industry, with a strong understanding of workflow within a digital creative team.
    • Established, actively nurtured network across film / TV (VFX supervisors, production designers, producers, studio execs, etc), with a track record of converting relationships into booked projects.
    • Strategic, adaptive problem-solver who thrives in an ever-changing landscape, quickly reads client needs and market shifts, crafts creative pursuit strategies, and removes obstacles to open, advance, and close new business.
    • Ability to surface client pain points through smart questions, translate needs into clear, value-first solutions, and pitch with credibility
    • Exceptional organization, communication, and time management skills, with proficiency in task management and budget management software.
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements, demonstrating resilience and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and handling multiple projects simultaneously, with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Preferred Qualifications

    • Cross-industry relationships in experiential, theme parks, advertising agencies, automotive, aerospace or robotics.
    • Salary

      150,000-$200,000 per year
