Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive healthcare servicesto theIllinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a fulltime Medical Records Director to join our team at Lincoln Correctional Center located in Lincoln Illinois.

The Medical Records Director at Lincoln Correctional Center is responsible for directing planning coordinating and administering the written and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) program. This professional is responsible for supervising and managing department operations and maintaining a complete accurate healthcare record while supervising the medical records staff and maintaining the confidentiality of the healthcare records.

Pay Rate : Compensation for this role is determined by RHIT certification; $36 / hour for non-certified and $38 / hour for certified candidates.

Shift : Monday through Friday 8am-4pm

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Three (3) years of supervisory experience in medical records setting preferred

Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Medical terminology knowledge and / or medical terminology course completion preferred

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred

Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
