Annual Salary : $91, - $107, (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, andpetencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to create satisfying andpelling digital experiences, drawing from results of user research and workflow analysis. These designs will be crafted by partnering closely with UX Research, multiple IT areas, and business partners with the ultimate goal of satisfying end users and supporting business goals.

Essential Functions

Turn internal client goals and objectives into moreplex design prototypes that reflect current user-centered design standards principles
Adhere to and help maintain moreplex style guides, design guides, and design libraries
Represent the UX design practice across the organization
Collaborate with senior UX designers to ensure adherence to UX standards, grow design skills, and deliver high-quality digital experiences
Influence project-level planning and overall design of the user experience for multiple projects
Participate in user testing functions
Continuously learn and evaluate existing sites for viewport adaptation, aesthetic appeal, and ease of use
Participate in project-level planning and overall design of the user experience for multiple projects

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Intermediate understanding of UX industry best practices including processes and methodologies

Intermediate familiarity with inclusive design practices and producing interfaces that adhere to accessibility (WCAG) standards

Proficiency with a variety of design tools with a focus on Figma

Proficient in information and interaction design

Ability tomunicateplex design concepts and customer journeys to a variety of customers

Ability to adhere and maintain style guides, design guides, and design libraries

Ability to understand business metrics and translatepany goals and objectives into digital experiences

Ability tomunicate ideas to developers and product owners

Problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges

Analytical mind with business acumen

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonalmunication skills

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalentbination of education and experience required

3+ years of Interaction Design experience required

Design orputer-related programs such as Humanputer Interaction (HCI) experience required

Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

For individuals applying, assigned and / or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements,merce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of thepensation range for some roles. Thispensation range is for the IT UX Engineer II - Designer job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in makingpensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. Atmerce,pensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $91,000 to $107,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additionalpensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
