Opportunity Snapshot :

Responsibilities
Provide leadership to the multi-disciplinary engineering efforts for capital projects, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and OH&S teamsProvide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development through detailed design, construction, and start-upOversee the development and review of engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company specificationsCoordinate with external engineering firms, consultants, and vendors to support project objectives and ensure quality and timely deliverablesDrive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes, methodologies, and technologies to enhance project efficiency and effectivenessConduct thorough technical reviews and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategiesDevelop and implement engineering execution plans, resource allocation strategies, and project schedulesFacilitate clear and effective communication between engineering disciplines, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolution of technical issuesParticipate in strategic decision-making processes, providing technical insights and recommendations to support project objectives and organizational goalsQualifications
Minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering roles, with a focus on capital projects in the oil & gas, refinery, or industrial sectorsStrong technical expertise in engineering design, analysis, and project execution, with knowledge of industry best practices and standardsExperience with LNG projects and familiarity with FERC and PHMSA regulations are a positiveProject Engineering experience with capital projects and / or turnaround work in an operating facilityPrior EPC experience working in a construction environment, particularly in roles such as Technical Service Manager, Discipline Lead, Foreman, or Supervisor, is a plusBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Engineer)The Bergaila Way :
