Lab Engineer

Intern will be a key intern in doing the foundational research and testing on an AFRL Government Contract. He will learn about government R&D contracts and work hands-on in the lab performing tests and research

Work directly with Engineering professionals to assist with conducting research, taking organized notes, and providing technical direction in problem-solving through critical thinking on SBIR and STTR awarded R&D Contracts in Midland, TX. Responsibilities :

• Take organized notes on experiments, projects, and results
• Perform evaluations on products and components
• Provide technical direction in problem-solving through critical thinking
• Select and learn new lab equipment as necessary
• Support lean lab process efficiency

For each new contract, the student and the company will evaluate the internship and revise the work assignments if necessary.

Attire : Lab Engineers are required to have :

Hourly pay : $18 / hr

Work type : Hybrid (Midland), Part-Time Intern will work part-time, with all clocked in-person labor hours happening at the Midland Astroport Office.
