Front Counter Associate - Miss Lucille's Marketplace

Do you love vintage treasures, unique new finds, handmade goods, and warm community vibes? Miss Lucille’s Marketplace is looking for friendly, dependable Front Counter Associates to help welcome guests into one of Clarksville’s most beloved shopping destinations.

As the first smile guests see, you’ll help create an inviting experience while working among hundreds of vendors offering vintage, new, handmade, repurposed, and one-of-a-kind items. Every day brings something new to discover.

What You’ll Do

Greet every guest and vendor with hospitality and genuine warmth

Process purchases, returns, gift cards, and special orders accurately

Keep the front counter and entrance area tidy, organized, and welcoming

Use POS and efficient typing to keep lines moving smoothly

Provide helpful information about vendor booths, store layout, and marketplace policies

Answer phones courteously and professionally

Assist guests with large or heavy purchases, retrieve carts, and support store cleanliness

Represent the Miss Lucille’s brand with consistency and a positive attitude

What You Bring

A friendly personality and love for helping people

Strong communication and guest service skills

Previous POS and cash-handling experience preferred

Attention to detail and accuracy, even during high-volume periods

Ability to multitask while staying calm and upbeat

Typing speed of 40+ WPM

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 70 lbs

Schedule & Availability Requirements

Must be available Wednesday through Sunday

Weekend availability is required

Consistent punctuality and reliability are essential

Must use scheduling software and follow attendance expectations
