Job Title : Sr. Financial Analyst

Location : San Jose

Reports to : Finance Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in San Jose. This role will play a key part in supporting the companys financial forecasting analysis and planning activities partnering closely with business leaders across functions.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in finance and data analysis excels at transforming numbers into actionable insights and communicates findings clearly and persuasively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Develop insightful scenario analysis and business commentaries to support executive decision-making.
Analyze key financial drivers such as bookings ACV revenue trends and sales quota.
Design and maintain Excel-based models for scenario and sensitivity analysis and contribute to process and reporting automation initiatives.
Work closely with a technical finance engineer on data integrity modeling and dashboard enhancement.
Present findings and recommendations in a clear concise and business-oriented manner.

Job Requirements

Knowledge of software hardware and service revenue recognition rules.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Power Query VBA).

Familiarity with Tableau SQL R or Python is a plus.

Excellent communication skills

Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Education / Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Data Science or related field;

2 years of work experience in financial planning & analysis corporate finance or business analytics.

MBA / CPA / ACCA / CFA is a plus.

The annual salary range for California is $88200 to $163800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation : bonus equity and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location.
