Position Summary
The Employee Health Coordinator supports the Employee Health program of National Jewish Health (NJH) by serving as the primary administrative liaison between NJH and its contracted employee health clinic partners. This non-clinical role ensures smooth coordination of services, including pre-employment screenings, immunizations, surveillance requirements, and workplace injury evaluations. The Coordinator maintains compliance-related records, supports HR and department leadership with regulatory reporting, and ensures employees receive timely and accurate information regarding required screenings and follow-up care. The role is essential to upholding thecommitment of NJH to regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA, Joint Commission) and maintaining a safe, healthy workforce.
Essential Duties
- Serve as the primary administrative liaison between NJH and its employee health clinic partners by coordinating scheduling, referrals, and required documentation for all screenings and clearances, ensuring timely record management and communicating expectations to employees and managers. Escalate delays or concerns to HR leadership as needed.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all employee health surveillance requirements—such as TB, immunizations, flu vaccination, and fit testing, by tracking deadlines, sending reminders, updating records, and preparing reports.
- Coordinate administrative aspects of workplace injury cases by scheduling evaluations, tracking work restrictions and follow-up needs, and supporting HR and Safety with workers’ compensation and OSHA-related documentation.
- Assist the Infection Prevention program as needed by coordinating required employee health documentation, supporting compliance initiatives, and facilitating communication between IP, HR, and clinic partners.

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business, HR, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.Work Experience : Minimum of 1 year of administrative, coordination, or HR experience.Special Training, Certification or Licensure : Experience managing sensitive and confidential information required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), HRIS systems, and data entry.Salary Range : $58,656.00 - $77,572.56
