Inpatient Occupational Therapist

The Inpatient Occupational Therapist reports directly to the Director of Rehabilitation Services and works closely with a team of physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and rehabilitation aides. This position collaborates with physicians, nursing leadership, and outpatient therapy colleagues to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity across care settings.

The Inpatient Occupational Therapist will provide care within the inpatient and swing bed departments, serving a patient population with a wide range of diagnoses and functional needs. The department fosters a supportive and professional environment, allowing the therapist to work with a skilled, compassionate team dedicated to patient progress and satisfaction.

As an Inpatient Occupational Therapist, responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing skilled interventions to improve functional independence.
